Le soleil de Méditerrannée leur va si bien!!!!
Vous vous souvenez certainement du passage des deux acteurs Wentworth Miller et Dominic Purcell nos deux héros de Prison Break, à Cannes le 9 Octobre dernier à l'occasion du MIPCOM. Voici quelques photos et le lien pour l'interview qu'ils avaient donné pour Europe 1 en présence du réalisateur:

Prison Break un plagiat?? une rumeur qui court....
Un jeune homme est emprisonné à tort, et son frère l'aide à s'évader.
C'est évidemment l'histoire de Prison Break, mais c'est aussi ce qui est arrivé aux frères Hughes dans les années 1960.
En 1964, Robert Hughes, un jeune homme de 16 ans, est incarcéré à tort à cause de sa mère, paranoïaque, qui l'accuse de l'avoir menacée avec un pic à glace. Elle se rétracte par la suite mais le gamin est condamné à une peine de cinq ans de prison. Son frère prépare un plan et le fait évader deux mois plus tard.
Les deux frères en questions intentent un procès à la Fox pour plagiat. Ils font en effet valoir que leur agent avait envoyé un manuscrit à la compagnie en 2001, racontant leur histoire, et que celui-ci avait été rejetté. Aussi, quand ils ont découvert Prison Break lors de sa diffusion sur la Fox, ils étaient légèrement surpris. Ils prétendent en tous cas avoir relevé au moins 30 similitudes frappantes - dans les noms ou les faits - entre la série et leur manuscrit.
L'immense succès de cette incroyable série se serait-il bâti sur un sale coup bas ?
La vraie question que tout le monde se pose est : à quoi ressemblait celui qui est interprété par Wentworth Miller ?
Prison Break suspendu!!!!!!! NONNNNNNNN
Comme vous le savez bien, nous en sommes à l'épisode 19, et si mon compte est bon il nous reste plus que 3 épisodes avant la saison 2.
Néanmoins, M6 comme vous le savez également ne diffuse que 2 épisodes par semaine. Voilà où je veux en venir, M6 prévoit ce mercredi (ne l'oubliez pas le jour de diffusion a changé....) de diffuser les épisodes 20 et 21, dans un second temps diffuser les épisodes 22 et le 1er épisode de la saison 2 le mercrdi suivant!!! Jusque là tout va bien.
Cependant après nous avoir mis en halène devant le dernier épisode de la saison 1 et le 1er épisode de la saison 2, il semblerait que M6 arrête la diffusion de manière provisoire de PRISON BREAK. Info ou intox...................affaire à suivre...............................

Changement de programmation
Que tout le monde se rassure, M6 n'arrête pas la diffusion de Prison Break, seulement à partir de la semaine prochaine c'est à dire Mercredi 1er Novembre, M6 diffuse Prison Break le Mercredi soir dès 20h50.....

Le saviez vous? Il atourné dans un court métrage où il joue déjà le rôle d'un mari prisionnier......
Court métrage tourné en 2005, où il joue un mari prisionnier. Peu de monde sur le web parle de cette apparition, voici le peu que j'ai pu trouver!!! Et c'est en anglais, pour notre plus grand plaisir car on ressent plus exactement le charisme de Wentworth (c'est mon avis) lorsque l'on voit ses films en VO. Si c'est trop dur pour vous mettez vous à l'anglais au plus vite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bon film.........................

Wentworth Earl Miller III (born June 2, 1972) is an American actor, who achieved fame as Michael Scofield on TV's Prison Break.
Biography
Early life
Miller's father is of African, Jamaican, English, German and Jewish descent, and his mother is of Russian, French, Dutch, Syrian, and Lebanese descent. He was born in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, England where his father, a Rhodes Scholar, was studying.
Miller was raised in Brooklyn, New York after his family moved back to the United States. In an interview, Miller stated: "My father is black and my mother is white. Therefore, I could answer to either which kind of makes me a racial Lone Ranger, at times, caught between two communities."
Miller's first three years of high school were spent at Midwood High School in Brooklyn. He then transferred to Quaker Valley Senior High School near Pittsburgh, where he graduated in 1990. In 1995, he graduated from Princeton University with a degree in English. During his time at Princeton, he traveled the world performing with the school's famed a capella group, The Princeton Tigertones. Subsequently, he headed to Los Angeles, California to pursue an acting career. He ended up spending years doing behind-the-scenes work to support himself before devoting himself seriously to auditioning for acting roles.
Career
Miller's first starring role was as the sensitive and introverted David in ABC's mini-series Dinotopia. After appearing in a few minor television roles, Miller moved on to co-star in the film The Human Stain (2003), playing the younger version of Anthony Hopkins' character.
Miller further increased his profile in 2005 when he starred in singer Mariah Carey's music videos, "It's Like That" and "We Belong Together." He currently has a main role as Michael Scofield in the successful Fox Network television drama Prison Break, for which he received a 2005 Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Dramatic Series.

Controversy with Cornel West

In 2003, Miller was cast as 'Coleman Silk' in The Human Stain. It was revealed that he had an intense personal connection to this mixed-race character. Not only did Miller possess a similar racial background, but he also caused a controversial incident during his time at Princeton for making an apparently derogatory (though misconstrued) remark about African-Americans, much like the character in the movie.
In 1994, while he was a junior at Princeton, Miller published a cartoon in The Daily Princetonian featuring Cornel West teaching an introduction to an African-American Studies course called Rhythm – Why None of You Have It, and How You Can Get It. The cartoon referred to West, who was the Professor of African-American Studies at Princeton University before being hired away by Harvard University, as "newly-purchased", an innocent academic term for newly hired that was taken as a reference to slavery.
The New York Times later published the story about novelist Toni Morrison writing an angry letter to Miller. Despite his multiracial background, Miller was considered a campus racist. Like 'Coleman Silk', Miller declined to explain the reasons behind his action.
After filming The Human Stain, Miller wrote a letter to West apologizing for the cartoon, but received no replies. However, West was present at the premiere of the movie. Incidentally, West is a friend of actress Anna Deavere Smith, who played Coleman Silk's mother in the film. He unexpectedly gave Miller a bear hug (implying to some observers that West had decided to forgive, if not forget, what had happened).
Trivia
- Miller made appearances in the videos of Mariah Carey's "It's Like That" and "We Belong Together". Both music videos were directed by Brett Ratner, who directed the series pilot of Prison Break.
- According to Brett Ratner on the DVD audio commentary for the "Pilot" episode of Prison Break, Wentworth Miller auditioned for the role of Superman/Clark Kent when the Superman Returns project was still under Ratner's directorial control.
